Have you check if your DNS is okay yet at http://dns-ok.us/ ?

I'm not too clear on the details but CNN told me to go there to make sure I'm not in some sort of global internet blackout starting Monday.

Apparently a few years back there was some sort of advertising scam that lead to computers being infected with malware. The FBI caught the perpetrators, realized they couldn't take the servers down because it would cause the infected computers to lose internet access so they set up their own to servers connect those people. Now they're taking them down but some people are still infected so people may lose internet access tomorrow.

All I have to say is that if this happened a few years ago, and you were infected then, and are still infect now to this day, then your antivirus is crap. It's beyond crap. In fact, I really have to wonder about those people who are affected by this.

I'm apparently okay, but then again, my antivirus has yet to let me down.
