Apparently one is the Admiral of the Galactic Empire, "a dynastic monarchy based on 19th century Prussia" (am I supposed to know how 19th century Prussis is like?) and the other the Admiral from the Alliance of Free Planets, "a nominal democracy."
One is power hunger, the other a pacificist.
Huh, can we say "tension"?
Sounds like my type of story. And it's a Space Anime! (I'm hoping for a better one after Galaxy Railways). But it first aired in 1989...old. And it's 110 episodes long with 2 movies. O.O Long. Very long.
