A Bit of History

When I took AP Chem, I remember studying about the Triangle Shirtwaist fire that killed 146 people because they were trapped in a building they couldn't escape.
It's a rather famous fire in US history as it contributed to many reforms in US labor laws. And since it's like set in the Progression Era (a big part of US history that the exam almost definitely focuses on), it was studied pretty indepthly by my history class.
Never, never, never would I have thought I would ever see this building.
Hell, I didn't even know it was still standing. I mean it was a pretty huge fire.
But, not only have I've seen this building, I have Chem lab in it too. What a terrible thought. I have class in a building that was the site of one of the most tragic moments in pre-industrial US history. Wow.
edit x1: GARY IS NOT GAY!!!! His facebook profile has him saying he's interested in women. Nice to know.
