From the Washington Square News, the school newspaper for NYU:
"A skeleton and his elaborate accessories participate in yesterday's 31st annual Greenwich Village Halloween Parade down sixth Avenue. The massive event, which typically draws more than 2 million participants and spectators, is the largest public Halloween celebration in the United States."
I went to that. *points up*
And for most of it, I couldn't see a damn thing. There are so many people who go to it that I was basically behind like seven rows of people and I saw the tops of the floats and some of the heads of the people in the parade.
Stephanie was short and caught one guy's attention and was ushered to the front. Lucky! Me and Brittany were like, we can't see anything, it's cold, we wanna leave but we can't see Stephanie!
And I got even more sick after the three hours I spent out there last night. *dies*
This morning was just bad and when I got back from bio, I just slept. I was in a daze most of Calculus (I couldn't even remember how I got there) and it was just bad altogether.
And next year Stephanie has vowed to make me participate in the parade... Okay... It's not a Sherry thing though...
Tomorrow is election day! Thank god I won't be out there. I just get the feeling that if Bush wins tomorrow (which I have a strong suspicion he will), New York City and specifically NYU is just gonna go up. It would be nice to witness a riot or something like that....
And apparently, Edward's brother-in-law is a Prof. at Tisch.
