Thoughts on Nov. 2

Bush won. We all know that now.

God fucking damn it!!! How the hell did that happen?!

I thought everyone hated Bush. Where did all these Bush supporters pop up from?!

I've been reading some of the comments made about this from different places in LJ (beckymarie and nyu) and I'm getting scared again.

I was so sure the world was gonna end as I knew it four years ago and indeed we're at a very different place than where we began and though it's worse, it's still not that bad.

Now I'm absolutely certain I don't want to live here. The things Bush is going to do to this country... Oh good God. What is that man going to do?! It's like he has a his little grubby hand on the detonator for everything that is good in the world and I feel like he's laughing manically and I'm just scared.

I don't want to leave though but to think of the next four years and the irreparable damage he's going to do... God... Breath, must breath. Oh, good God.

And how long is the world going take to right itself out?! When I'm an adult? When I'm married with children and can finally sigh that the things will finally be better for their generation?! I thought it was supposed to be better for MY generation.

Fuck, I think I'm gonna cry. This is just so damn frustrating. And it doesn't help to think that half of the country feels as helpless as I do and that the rest of the world had wanted Bush out. Why the hell didn't we succeed? So many people hate him so much and I just don't understand why...

God! I think the damn Republicans also have power in the Senate and the House. Why?! I don't even want to think what he's gonna do to the Supreme Court... *winces*

Someone commented on either BeckyMarie's LJ or on the NYU community said s/he will be looking at liquor stores wondering if alcoholism would be that hard to maintain because they want to spend the next four years drunk. I feel the same way. I just want to go hide in my bed until Bush is kicked out of office...

I wonder if we can get him impeached? Send a sexy little intern in there and entice him... It'll be for the good of the country!

I'm gonna head over to http://www.slapthecandidate.com/ to vent some anger out. God damn that Bush. I hope he rots in hell.

edit x1: Okay, I've just read Kerry's farewell letter... Oh god... Now I really am crying... This is just unfair!!! How could America do something like this? A classmate of mine said she was losing faith in the American public... God, I'M losing faith in America altogether...

the streets have become a dangerous place..where women have no choice of whether to keep their babies, they are forced to HAVE the baby even if the woman was raped...where gays will be strong discriminated against. they are not humans. Heterosexuals will spit on them...where the wealthy gets richer and the poorer gets poorer, and the homeless shawdows of NYC increases steadily....where capitalism goes extreme, leaving the handicapped, vetrans, and minorities to fend for themselves...where the elderly are denied of proper health care, only the priviledge will be served......where the atomsphere grows completely conservative and christian, as the senate, house of rep and the president begint to take over America.....where economoy is destroyed.....where hope is lost.....where families lose their child in war because Bush wants to attack foreign countries for his own benefit... This is what the world is NOW..and imagine, 4 more years of IT. His power has grown. Our race as the democrats are dwindling. Where will we turn ? Who will help us? Have we lost control? May God HELP US ALL>
