(no subject)

Got all of my presents today! I wasn't expecting them until tomorrow because even though today had been originally quoted, Fed Ex apparently didn't pick up the package until the day after so it pushed the date of delivery by a day. But! And I think it was due to the fact that it was picked up on Friday and they had the entire weekend to make it here that I got all of them today! Yay! And now everything is all nicely wrapped. All I need now are ribbons to finish the bows and by my count, I need four more spools... Three one inchers, and another 2 inch one, although I might not need that one if I can't make a decent one with the ribbon... Right now it's wrapped with a simple bow that actually looks pretty good after I fiddled with it but it's also a bit minimalist when laid side by side with the present with the elaborate, poofy bow.

Anyway, I finally got rid of that second mouse that was caught... It took a while for me to work up my courage (a day and a half) and when I finally steeled myself, I accidentally got a VERY good look at it...

I've never been more freaked out in my life. Well, maybe that one time when I thought I was going to die while riding in car without any brakes but aside from that near death experience, I've never been more scared. It was actually pretty cute...which made it so much more sadder that it was dead and I was the one who essentially killed it. :(

And I think mice don't have eyelids... Either that or that mouse died with its eyes wide open... They were so large and black and they were staring at me... T_T

Needless to say, I screamed, I ran away and I started to babble incoherently for a while. After that, I knew I had to just get it over with so I covered my hand with a large plastic shopping bag, took off my glasses so I couldn't see the mouse clearly and I picked it up and threw it away. *shudders* Seriously, let's hope that's the last mouse. I don't want to be doing this each and every day...

But with those two mice caught, I am running low on mousetraps... Must pick them up whenever the rain lets up when I go and buy my ribbon.

Also, tasks for this week before my brother and sister come home:

1. Finish ribboning the presents and set them under the tree
2. Vacuum
3. Clean
4. Finish translating Hanagata c25
5. Get more than half of Side Story 9 of Eroica done
6. Count Kinects and take a picture of one of them for Kent

Is there anything else I'm missing? Hmmm... Well, I guess I should try and abstain from playing Cityville since I've gotten quite obsessed with it... :\

Okay, I'm off to do a page of Hanagata and then some Cityville... I have crops maturing!
